  12. From: Glossary editorial board.

  14. At the recent temporal database workshop it was decided that a
  15. glossary on temporal database concepts was to be part of the final
  16. report from the workshop. The glossary will be a revised version of
  17. the document wsGlossary (and wsGlossaryAdd, and addendum) located in
  18. the tsql directory at cs.arizona.edu, accessible via anonymous via
  19. ftp.

  21. At the workshop, it was also decided that an editorial board was to be
  22. responsible for revising the initial document according to the
  23. comments of the workshop participants. There is an August 23 deadline
  24. for this.

  26. Volunteers were requested for the board, and the steering committee of
  27. the workshop appointed the following participants:

  29. Christian Jensen (chair), James Clifford, Ramez Elmasri, Shashi Gadia,
  30. Pat Hayes, Sushil Jajodia.

  32. As our work progresses, we will report to and request comments via
  33. this mailing list. We will attempt to involve you as much as
  34. practically possible in the construction of the final glossary
  35. document.

  37. At this stage, we request that you write up any comments you may have
  38. related to the glossary and send these to tdbglossary (or
  39. csj@iesd.auc.dk). As the editorial board will have to decide on a
  40. final structure for the document very soon, YOUR STRUCTURE-RELATED
  41. COMMENTS ARE NEEDED WITHIN A WEEK. Comments related to other specific
  42. tasks will be solicited later.
